OVERVIEW
The Business Analyst Senior will play a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and translating business needs into functional and technical requirements. This individual will work closely with stakeholders across departments to drive data-informed decisions, optimize internal processes, and support strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate has deep experience with complex systems, excels at cross-functional collaboration, and can bridge the gap between business and technology. This role requires exceptional analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and a keen understanding of enterprise-level business processes and systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead discovery sessions with business and technical stakeholders to understand objectives, gather requirements, and document business processes.
Analyze large datasets to derive actionable insights that support business decision-making.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development and technical teams.
Define, document, and manage business process models, workflows, and user stories using industry-standard methodologies.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Conduct gap analyses, feasibility studies, impact assessments, and root cause analyses for ongoing initiatives and operational challenges.
Design and execute test cases and validate delivered solutions against requirements.
Support change management efforts by creating training materials, conducting user training, and facilitating stakeholder communication.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
Maintain business and technical documentation for ongoing maintenance and compliance.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and team members.
Stay informed of industry trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve business analysis capabilities.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including experience with enterprise software implementations and cross-functional initiatives.
Proven ability to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of business process design, systems integration, and data modeling.
Expertise with requirement management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) and process mapping tools (e.g., Drawio, Bizagi).
Advanced proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting.
Experience working with BI tools such as Power BI.
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
Strong presentation, facilitation, and fluent communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a collaborative and deadline-driven environment.
Experience in regulated industries or government-related projects is a plus.
Fully proficient in Spanish and English.
